Cape Coral: 2 New Developments Bimini Basin Project

The first two developments in the Bimini Basin Project are underway with both projects are aiming to finish by Fall 2023. The two are down the road from each other, just off Cape Coral Parkway East.


1) The Cape at 47th

The 3.9-acre project would include 280 apartments, 18,000 square feet of ground-floor retail or office space, and a 525 stall parking garage with the first two floors reserved for public use.


Location: Between SE 9th Place and SE 8th Court on the east and west. Cape Coral Parkway will be to the south, and 47th Street Terrace will be to the north.


Timeline: Construction would begin in early 2022 with a projected opening in mid-2023, an 18-month construction timeframe.


2) Bimini West


Bimini West will have 185 apartments, a 375 stall parking garage, 25,000 square feet of ground-floor commercial space, and a waterfront restaurant with docks and boat slips.


Location: Bimini West will be on the south side of the parkway, where the main road intersects with Tudor Court, Pine Tree Court and Palm Tree Drive.


Timeline: Groundbreaking is anticipated in late summer 2022 with completion by the end of 2023.


What is The Bimini Basin Project?

A project that has been years in the making is moving closer to a reality. A proposed Bimini Basin project would bring apartments, stores, a parking garage and a waterfront restaurant to Cape Coral. Bimini Basin brings boaters and fishers from all over the country.
